One of my favorite towns here in the 'Land of 10,000 Lakes' is White Bear Lake. While you will find no white bears outside perhaps the zoo here in MN, you can visit this lovely city and feel the love for the Polar Bear all around. The black bear is the only species of bear that lives in Minnesota. Generally found in the coniferous forests of Northern Minnesota. A great place to learn more is the North American Bear Center in Ely, MN. https://www.bear.org/website/ - Too far north for me to travel right now, but I will get this moving along to another great bear location soon!
