Tank loves to travel and he loves to adventure. He particularly loves mountains.
He has two missions;
1. To visit a mountain in every state and territory in Australia, before returning to his release point of Mt Nebo overlooking the beautiful Samford Valley (he has some friends that he is racing, to see who can be the first to return to Samford).
2. In Tasmania, he would really like to visit some of his family (other Tasmanian devils).
The Tasmanian devil is a carnivorous marsupial of the family Dasyuridae. It was once native to mainland Australia and is now found in the wild only on the island state of Tasmania, including tiny east-coast Maria Island where there is a conservation project with disease-free animals.
Conservation status: Endangered (Population decreasing)
Scientific name: Sarcophilus harrisii
Trophic level: Carnivorous
Speed: 13 km/h (Maximum, Running)
Mass: Male: 8 kg (Adult), Female: 6 kg (Adult)
Length: Male: 65 cm (Head and body), Female: 57 cm (Head and body)
