Current Goal

LETS KEEP THE SHOW ON THE ROAD

If I travel to a new country that we currently don't have a coin for lets add it and I will update the list here. How cool would it be for someone to touch the world by a keychain and also something millions of years old.

About This Item

Megalodon tooth found near fossil

Greetings!

You’ve caught the Mini Museum!

In a new country? Add a coin and I will update the list.

This trackable has been inspired by recent travels and I thought I would share them with you, so you can touch another part of the world.

You might be asking yourself what this funny looking rock on is here.

The answer might shock you as this is a genuine fossil from Virginia, USA. I discovered it while hiking along Westmorland state park.

This is part of a rib bone of a creature from 23-25 million years ago, during the lower Miocene age. When was the last time you came across something that old?

I WOULD LOVE TO KEEP MOVING TO ALLOW KIDS EXPERIENCE FIRST HAND WHAT IT IS LIKE TO TOUCH A CREATURE THAT IS MILLIONS OF YEARS OLD AND EXPLORE THE WORLDS COINS.

BONUS:

You will notice 4 coins from my recent travels.

1. A Quarter signifying Virginia, USA. Virginia State Quarter. The Virginia quarter, the tenth coin released under the 50 State Quarters® Program, honors Jamestown, Virginia, our nation's first permanent English settlement. Jamestown turns 400 years old in 2007. The selected design features the three ships, Susan Constant, Godspeed, and Discovery.

2. Curacao Guilder. The Netherlands Antillean guilder (Dutch: gulden) is the currency of Curaçao. On Curaçao and Sint Maarten, the Netherlands Antillean guilder was proposed to be replaced by a new currency, the Caribbean guilder, but this has been stalled indefinitely by negotiations over the establishment of a separate central bank for Curaçao.

3. Ukrainian Hryvna. A currency called hryvna was used in Kievan Rus'. In 1917, after the Ukrainian National Republic declared independence from the Russian Empire, the name of the new Ukrainian currency became hryvnia, a revised version of the Kievan Rus' hryvna. The designer was Heorhiy Narbut.

4. Polish złoty.  One of the conditions of Poland's joining the European Union in May 2004 obliges the country eventually to adopt the euro, though not at any specific date and only after Poland meets the necessary stability criteria. Serious discussions regarding joining the Eurozone have ensued. However, article of the Constitution of the Republic of Poland will need to be amended first, so it seems unlikely that Poland will adopt the euro before 2019. Public opinion research by CBOS from March 2011 shows that 60% of Poles are against changing their currency. Only 32% of Poles want to adopt the euro, compared to 41% in April 2010.
