Please move me from cache to cache in search of a Mallard hen. Don’t forget to log were I’ve been. If possible log who you are and post a picture.
I’m a male Mallard Duck, called a drake, and my scientific name is Anas platyrhynchos, but please call me Quackers. I’m the most widely known duck in the world and I’m found almost everywhere in the northern hemisphere, from isolated woodland lakes to ponds in the middle of the largest cities.
When I migrate, during the fall and spring, I have always followed flyways, which are age-old routes used by all migrating birds. I have been known to travel 3,000 miles and fly 60 miles per hour.
I like to eat items within the water. That is why you can often see my tail feathers up in the air while I’m eating snails, fish eggs, and plants below the surface of the water. I pull plants out by the roots and nibble on them. They are very good! My bill is perfect for eating underwater plants, because it lets the water out when I grab the plant.
But alas, I have not found the right hen (female) to spend the rest of my life with. So I need you help to take me off the flyways and bring me to caches. I hopefully will find a hen in a cache.
Please move me from cache to cache in search of a Mallard hen. Don’t forget to log were I’ve been. If possible log who you are and post a picture.
Thanks,
Quackers

Quakers is not in GCGGZM Travel Bug Junction. Perhaps you might want to move him to the "unknown" location? I am sorry to be the bearer of bad tidiings, but thought you would want to know.

Spring is in the air and Quackers wanted to head north to find his hen. You know what they say about "northern girls"..."they keep their boyfriends warm at night!" Quackers is now in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho and I'll put him in a cache within the next seven days.
