Mein Owner (Swiss_Atlas) schickt mich in die weite Welt hinaus, mit der Mission, von Cache zu Cache zu wandern.
Ab dem 22.2.22 soll ich wieder den Rückweg nach Luzern (Schweiz) antreten. Entsprechend bringe mich ab diesem Datum wieder Richtung Schweiz.  Bitte trage sorge zu mir, damit ich unbeschadet reisen kann. Vielen Dank!

Nordkap
Das Nordkap (norwegisch Nordkapp) ist ein ins Nordpolarmeer hineinragendes Kap an der Nordseite der norwegischen Insel Magerøya. Es liegt in der nach ihm benannten Kommune Nordkapp auf 71° 10′ 21″ nördlicher Breite, 514 Kilometer nördlich des Polarkreises und rund 2100 Kilometer südlich des Nordpols.
Das Nordkap ist nicht der nördlichste Punkt Europas, es ist jedoch mit seinem Wahrzeichen, dem Globus, ein bedeutendes touristisches Reiseziel. Im Sommer gibt es für etwa zweieinhalb Monate die Mitternachtssonne, im Winter dagegen gelangt die Sonne etwa zweieinhalb Monate lang auch tagsüber nicht über den Horizont.

Geographische Lage und Verkehr
Das Nordkap liegt in der Finnmark, dem nördlichsten Bezirk Norwegens.
Entgegen der weit verbreiteten Auffassung und manchen Behauptungen der Tourismusbranche ist das Nordkap nicht der nördlichste Punkt Europas:
-       Das Nordkap befindet sich nicht auf dem Festland, sondern auf einer diesem vorgelagerten Insel. Der nördlichste Punkt des Festlandes ist die Landzunge Kinnarodden (71° 08′ 01″ nördlicher Breite) auf der Nordkinnhalbinsel.
-       Auch auf der Insel Magerøya, auf der auch das Nordkap liegt, befindet sich auf 71° 11′ 08″ nördlicher Breite ein noch 1400 Meter weiter nördlich gelegener Punkt, nämlich die westlich benachbarte Landzunge Knivskjellodden.
-       Auch unter den Inseln, die zu Europa zählen, gibt es diverse, die sich nördlich des Nordkaps befinden. Diejenigen des Spitzbergen-Archipels und die des Franz-Josef-Lands mit Kap Fligely sind die nördlichsten.
Das Nordkap ist seit dem Anschluss an das Straßennetz über die heutige Europastraße 69 im Jahr 1956 der nördlichste Punkt Europas, der auf Straßen vom europäischen Festland aus erreicht werden kann. Seit Juni 2013 beginnt hier an einer steinernen Wegmarke der 7000 Kilometer lange Europäische Fernwanderweg E1.
Der nächste Flughafen ist Honningsvåg Valan, der 31 Kilometer südöstlich über die E 69 erreicht wird. Er wird nur im Regionalverkehr angeflogen. Auf der Ostflanke des Plateaus befindet sich die Felsformation Nordkaphorn.
