Dave and Cathy's Tribute to Sabrina Trackable

For our beloved Sabrina to bring a smile to the faces of everyone she encounters as she did for us every day for over 20 years before crossing over the Rainbow Bridge in 2006. 

Please post pictures of her with your pets, and feel free to add hitchhikers to join her.

This Travel Bug is starting its journey with one hitchhiker, an image of our beloved Sabrina, who passed in 2006. 

They were initially set free by Dave and Cathy Lewis near Quartz Hill, California, to share our happy memories of Sabrina with geocachers around the world.

The Travel Bug is made of aluminum and measures just under 1" x 2".  The image of Sabrina is in a plastic badge holder with its Mission Statement and measures about 2.5" x 3.5".  They should fit nicely in regular size cache containers.  They are attached to a 3.5" chain, so feel free to attach your favorite hitchhiker to join them on their journey.

10/12/25 - RE-RELEASED AS A PROXY ONCE  MORE AFTER THE ORIGINAL DISAPPEARED AGAIN, THIS TIME FROM A VANDALIZED CACHE WHERE IT HAD BEEN PLACED JUST 3 MONTHS AGO!!  THIS TIME THE ORIGINAL HAD TRAVELED ABOUT 9,812 MILES BEFORE IT DISAPPEARED IN ZINGEM, OOST-VLAANDEREN, BELGIUM!!

9/1/24 - ORIGINAL FOUND AND RETRIEVED FROM THE CACHE WHERE IT WAS PLACED ON 6/16/23!!  THE PROXY HAD TRAVELED ALMOST 8,988 BEFORE THE ORIGINAL WAS RETRIEVED.  THE PROXY HAS BEEN REMOVED FROM CIRCULATION!!

6/9/24 - RE-RELEASED AS A PROXY AFTER THE ORIGINAL DISAPPEARED FROM A CACHE WHERE IT HAD BEEN PLACED OVER A YEAR AGO.  THE ORIGINAL HAD TRAVELED ABOUT 8,357 MILES BEFORE IT DISAPPEARED NEAR HJO, VASTRA GOTALAND, SWEDEN!!
