Toch zijn er nog een hoop bijgelovige theorieën over dit prachtige beest. Ze zeggen dat als je een uil tegenkomt dat je klaar bent voor een verandering in je leven of gewoonten. Je hoeft niet perse fysiek een uil tegen te komen. Ook als je hem ziet in een schaduw of bijvoorbeeld een wolk.
