Solway was a red Squirrel, native to Scotland. He wanted to travel round Scotland. A simple mission?!!! After great effort and planning getting him to a beautiful place to start his travels, he went missing after only a VERY short travel!
Solway is now a Squirrel Keyring with a copy tag. After being missing for well over a year, by some miracle he turned up in the Peak District and was rescued by a Geocacher, and is now back to travelling. Thank you very much to them for letting me know he is not missing anymore.
This is now Solway The Second. After a great deal of planning and effort, this Trackable was dropped at Redpoint Bay, a favourite place of ours, in late 2019. He travelled with precisely TWO Cachers only, was dropped off at Gairloch Viewpoint....and disappeared!
As I finally worked out how to reactivate a Trackable with a copy tag, we had Solway 2. I dropped him off....and he went missing again! After being missing for well over a year, by some miracle he turned up in the Peak District and was rescued by a Geocacher, and is now back to travelling. Thank you very much to them for letting me know he is not missing anymore.
He will hopefully resume his travels in Scotland soon.
PLEASE keep him moving, he wants to travel as much of Scotland as possible, preferably some of the Islands and the route of the NC500. After that he is happy to go anywhere in the world, but please keep him moving, and post pictures of his progress. Thank you.
