I collected this geotag in Alaska this summer and now it has made it all the way across the continent to Summerville, South carolina. I'm leaving it here on a gorgeous fall day. The sun is shining, the leaves are crispy and golden, and the wind in the trees is music to my ears. I hope you enjoy the hunt.

Sorry I held on to this one for so long. I was trying to find a beautiful spot with trees to leave it. I'm at Colonial Dorchester State Park in Summerville, South Carolina. It's a gorgeous fall day, the leaves are crisp and colorful, and the sound of the wind in the trees is mesmerizing. It's a great spot to leave a tree-themed geotag.

I will be taking this on to either Seward, AK or all the way home to Savannah, GA. It depends on how far this geotag wants to travel.

I picked this one because I love Christmas and my favorite part about the holiday has always been choosing and then decorating the Christmas tree. I love perfectly imperfect, rustic Christmas trees. Growing up the tradition in my family was I would choose the tree in Friday night, my family would help me put it in the stand, and then Saturday morning they would leave and go start running their Christmas errands. They weren't allowed to come back until it was dark. When they got home I would have the tree completely decorated and all the lights in the house off except for the Christmas tree lights and a crackling fire, and cider simmering on the stove. It felt like making Christmas magic.
