We received this Christmas Tree TB for free just before Christmas of 2020 for ordering at least $25 of stuff online. We live in Colorado, and each year pay a fee to the US Forest Service, get a permit and head off to Pike National Forest to cut down our Christmas tree from designated areas. Forest health is important, removing these smaller trees contributes to the overall well being of the forest and reduces fire danger. Pike National Forest is named for famed explorer Zebulon Pike, whose name also adorns nearby Pikes Peak which was the inspiration to Katharine Lee Bates who, in 1895, wrote "America the Beautiful". Please move this trackable along soon, to any geocache, anywhere, and log where it goes on geocaching.com Thanks !!!
