Some record keeping about the early travels of the bee, as not all of it has been logged on the website:
The bee was picked up from its starting place in Manchester (GC7TY6A) by wonderingwiththekids some time after releasing on 31st July 2023, and on or before 10th August 2023. Unfortunately, they didn't log it, and then also lost it for a few months. Once found again, they then placed it in a cache in Cornwall (GC92WRE) on 1st January 2024, again without logging it. This meant that it was presumed missing for about 5 months.
Thrubwell Dancer picked the bee up from the same cache in Cornwall on 7th January 2024, but because the previous moves weren't logged, their log inaccurately shows them as having grabbed it from Manchester. A few days later, they then kindly also logged a visit to the cache in Cornwall where they found it so that the journey map would remain accurate.
