I am in a Family Travel Bug race from the big Island of Hawaii to the Geocache "Nature" GC9EMJJ in the great little town of Orting, WA just a bit south east of Tacoma, WA. Help my little green racing shoe get there first.
We are going on a Family vacation to celebrate my Brother and his Wife's (Jim and Jan) 40th wedding anniversary. There will 10 be of us on the trip. Most of us are Geocachers so we should get a few hides on the island along with seeing the sights. Help me get back to Orting, WA first so I can claim my prize from the Family. I am hoping for a steak dinner but I will settle for a hot dog. We will be on the Big Island mid December of 2023

I am a small green racing shoe attached to a hiking boot travel tag with a small Burlington Northern Railroad (BN) brass uniform button. Those buttons were given to the Conductors and Brakeman of the Burlington Northern passenger trains so they would look really spiffy doing thier job. The BN only ran passenger trains from 1970 to 1972 so the buttons could be considered "rare" but they are not there are a ton of them out there and it is probably worth at best .50 cents. It makes a fun addition to a travel bug though.
