Current Goal

Cool Rancho would like you to take and post photos of him near spiderwebs, things he might like to eat, and/or dark places around the world.  If you can snap a photo of him with another spider, that would be even better.  Please keep him webbing around from cache to cache.

About This Item

Give Me My Cheesy Taco: came to the Hawaiian place for lunch with my little sister and grabbed this one.
I think that I shall never see
    A cache as lovely
    As an LPC….
A pole that looks at the sky all day
And brightly chases the dark away!
    Its base of concrete
    And bolted feet
    Bear a skirt
    Giving shelter like a yurt
    To jar, bottle or vial
    From the drugstore aisle,
    Keeping safe and secure
    A log for a signature
Which will give me in a while
    The elusive yellow smile.
    Not obvious, kinda drab,
    An easy Park n' Grab!
    Like atmosphere, the air,
    These skirt lifters are everywhere!
    Birdhouse, ammo can, URP,
    Virtual, multi, cemetery,
    None can surpass the ease,
    The ubiquitous number, of LPCs!

Sudanese Unicorn: Found it closer to the street than where the coords brought me. Closer to N 032° 57.349' W 117° 01.646'. Well camouflaged. Damp inside. Dried out and added some silica and a spider 😉 what? Spiders don’t go well with unicorns? Sorry, I had no unicorn trackables.

Visited 4/13/2025 Pengwinldy took it to Hollywood sign California - 2.15 miles  Visit Log

Hollywood Sign: Hiked in from Innsdale today to see the front of the sign. It was a bit foggy but worked. We went to the top several years ago. The weather was perfect, not too crowded. Disappointed that so many people ignore the posted trail closed signs and go through anyway. Great weekend in Hollywood. Log is in bad shape but signable.
