Howdy from WA state! Thank you for this awesome trackable. This was actually my first trackable find since I have (re)discovered Geocaching, so I apologize for the delay in officially logging it.
I found this in the Haystack Rocks! cache on August 17th, 2025, while visiting Seaside, OR with my family. We're from WA state, and since we frequent many campgrounds (and love to Geocache) this seemed like a kismet find. Now that we're back in WA, we are dropping the trackable off today, at a cache close to one of my favorite campsites growing up. So happy to be apart of Mountain Rescue's journey and excited to see where it ends up next!
9/8/25 Update: After three attempts at finding a decent spot to leave this trackable, I found the perfect local spot along a pretty easy and gorgeous hiking trail. I also attached an abalone shell I found on Cannon Beach to accompany this bug on its journey. Happy hunting!
