“Race to the North – Ein Travel Bug auf großer Fahrt”
Hallo, ich bin Nordic Nelly, ein abenteuerlustiger Travel Bug mit einem großen Traum: Ich will zum Nordkap, dem nördlichsten Punkt Europas! Aber nicht alleine – ich habe einen starken Rivalen: das Cache-Mobil von RSSonic (TB68Z7G), das mich auf dieser Reise überholen will! Wer schafft es zuerst? Möge das große Rennen beginnt!
Der Start – Voller Hoffnung und Eifer
Kaum aus dem ersten Geocache befreit, schüttel ich den Staub ab und dehne meine Karabiner. Ich bin bereit! Mein Ziel: Von Cache zu Cache reisen und schneller als das Cache-Mobil sein. Doch Moment! Da kommt schon die erste Herausforderung – ein gemütlicher Geocacher packt mich ein und… legt mich erstmal auf sein Armaturenbrett. Warten? Echt jetzt?!
Das Cache-Mobil setzt sich in Bewegung
Während ich mich mit Staub und Sonnenstrahlen langweile, startet mein Gegner: Das Cache-Mobil brummt los, rollt über die Straßen Skandinaviens und kommt mir gefährlich nahe. Es transportiert Cacher von Cache zu Cache – und die sind schnell! Ich höre schon das Motorengeräusch in der Ferne… Mist!
Endlich Bewegung – Aber in die falsche Richtung?!
Nach gefühlten Ewigkeiten werde ich endlich weitergegeben! Ich freue mich… doch dann der Schock: Mein neuer Träger fährt erstmal nach Süden! Ähm, hallo? Nordkap? NORDEN?? Aber keine Panik, ich bleibe optimistisch. Vielleicht ist es nur ein Umweg, oder ich werde bald von einem Rallye-Fahrer in die richtige Richtung mitgenommen.
Der Kampf um jede Meile
Während das Cache-Mobil seine Tour fortsetzt, werde ich von netten Cachern von Schweden nach Finnland gebracht. Die Temperaturen sinken, mein kleiner Travel Bug-Körper beginnt zu frieren, aber ich gebe nicht auf! Eine besonders eifrige Geocacherin schickt mich mit einem Lächeln weiter Richtung Norden – endlich! Ich kann das Ziel fast riechen…
Das große Finale – Wer ist zuerst da?
Dann passiert es: Ein erfahrener Geocacher nimmt mich mit auf einen Roadtrip direkt zum Nordkap! Ich kann es kaum glauben – mein Ziel ist in greifbarer Nähe! Doch das Cache-Mobil ist ebenfalls fast da… Wer wird gewinnen?

Dank eurer Hilfe habe ich es geschafft – vor dem Cache-Mobil! Ich stehe am Nordkap, bestaune das berühmte Globus-Denkmal und genieße den eisigen Wind. Mein Traum ist wahr geworden!

Hello, I'm Nordic Nelly, an adventurous Travel Bug with a big dream: I want to go to the North Cape, the northernmost point in Europe! But not alone - I have a strong rival: RSSonic's Cache-Mobile (TB68Z7G), which wants to overtake me on this journey! Who will get there first? The big race begins!
The start - full of hope and eagerness
As soon as I get out of the first geocache, I shake off the dust and stretch my carabiners. I am ready! My goal: to travel from cache to cache and be faster than the cache-mobile. But wait a minute! Here comes the first challenge - a jovial geocacher grabs me and... puts me on his dashboard. Waiting? Really now?!
The cache-mobile starts to move
While I'm bored with dust and sunshine, my opponent takes off: the cache-mobile hums off, rolls along the roads of Scandinavia and comes dangerously close to me. It transports cachers from cache to cache - and they are fast! I can already hear the sound of the engine in the distance... Shit!
Movement at last - but in the wrong direction?
After what feels like ages, I'm finally passed on! I'm delighted... but then the shock: my new porter is heading south! Um, hello? North Cape? NORTH?? But don't panic, I remain optimistic. Maybe it's just a detour, or maybe I'll soon get a lift in the right direction from a rally driver.
The fight for every mile
While the cache-mobile continues its tour, I am taken from Sweden to Finland by nice cachers. The temperatures are dropping, my little travel bug body is starting to freeze, but I'm not giving up! A particularly eager geocacher sends me further north with a smile - finally! I can almost smell the destination...
The grand finale - who gets there first?
Then it happens: an experienced geocacher takes me on a road trip straight to the North Cape! I can hardly believe it - my destination is within reach! But the cache-mobile is almost there too... Who will win?
Drum roll...
And... I'd love to report back: Victory for Nordic Nelly!
Thanks to your help, I made it - before the cache-mobile! I'm standing at the North Cape, marveling at the famous globe monument and enjoying the icy wind. My dream has come true!
