Maurice the Turtle was dropped-off in Dikhololo in South Africa, after a long journey. He accompanied me on my road trip in the USA, after finding him in Colorado. Together we went to Chicago and boarded a plane to London in the UK. From there we went to Brussels in Belgium (also by plane). Then we went by car to Eindhoven in the Netherlands where we a stayed for one week. Then back to Brussels to board a plane to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. There we changed planes and flew to Johannesburg in South Africa.
And from there finally to Dikhololo by car. A long journey, but Maurice wants to go far.
Probably he will stay here for some time, as the cache where he is staying right now (Duiker) is not visited too frequently. About once a month. Meanwhile he can enjoy the company of friendly animals like giraffe, zebra, monkeys and little Cape ground squirrel (that also climbs on roofs).
Note that Maurice is a real world traveller now, as he has visited 4 continents: North America, Europe, Asia and Africa. Quite an achievement for this little turtle.
