Spyro

Spyro the Dragon belongs to Mrs. Fought's 7th period class at Goshen Middle School. He is called Spyro because he is the color of FIRE! Spyro wants to go to the Grand Canyon in Arizona because he was born there. He really wants to get back to the Grand Canyon to visit his family. Please take as many pictures of Spyro as you can so he can show his family where he has been. Mrs. Fought's students thank you for your help. Spyro donated by Chris.

I have waited a while to drop off Spyro because I wanted him to make contact with some kids from my school and a classroom that I have done some geocaching activities with. If you get a chance look up the Travel Bug "Take Us To See the USA" - a bug we started from our school. Grabbed some of my geocaching students to place Spyro this morning in a cache that was started by last year's 5th graders from the same class. We took some pictures and will try to get them posted on this site.

I picked up Spiro at an event cache when I saw it was released by a class in Goshen, Indiana. I am a teacher at an intermediate school in Oregon (grades 4-6) and I also helped one of the 5th grade classes release a travel bug. So I thought it would be neat to correspond with you and maybe share experiences. Our bug is called "Take Us To See The USA and its goal is to see as much of the US as possible before hopefully returning to us this spring before the students who released it move on the the Middle School. We will be returning to school on Monday and I will try to get a picture of some of the students with the TB before placing it in a cache to continue its journey back to you.
