Update: Didn't make origional plan, but the Wright Flyer didn't get airborne that day either. Keep trying to get me to Kitty Hawk! Take my photo at the site. Thanks
To attend First Flight Centennial Celebrations and get to Kitty Hawk for DEC 17 2003 Festivities!
check out (visit link)
Take my photo with you and put it in your log. You may want to include somthing about how aviation has affected you.
FirstFlightBug is a Microwings model of the Wright Flyer first flown Dec 17, 1903. We are celebrating 100 years of Aviation this Year. Join the celebration by taking him to an airshow, airport or especially any first flight event. Take you photo with him and share it with everyone.
Don't forget to write down his ID Tag number before you stash in cache or you won't be able to log your deposit.
I think some bugs are homeless for this reason.
Have Fun !

Sorry that First Flight did not make it to it's requested destination.Wish I had gotten ahold of it sooner. The wife and I vacationed at the Outer Banks early this last summer. We have no plans of heading that way anytime soon. I will be dropping him off in one of a series of caches that I am in the process of creating.
