About This Item

Okay, here's the deal: this TB is attached to a small red aluminum capsule that contains a small piece of cloth inside. The piece of cloth is a remnant of my dearly beloved and recently dispatched Tilley T3 hat. If you know about Tilleys and Tilley owners, then you understand the gravity of the loss of one's T3. It went with me everywhere and protected my ever-balding pate from the burning Australian sun. I want it (or at least a small part of it) to return to Oz. So: the mission details are simple- TOAB(To Oz and Back) TB goes to Australia and drops off the piece of cloth (suggestions: Mossman River; Hypipamee Crater; Chillagoe; Lamington National Forest; Tooloom National Forest; Castle Hill in Townsville; Brisbane City Botanical Garden; South Mission Beach) and in return picks up a small dab of sand or earth (or some other small piece of Australia) then returns home to Phoenix, AZ.

Advisory note: The piece of cloth is very small and has been laundered and sterilized so as to minimise the probability of transmitting something nasty. This fact notwithstanding, I implore you not to leave the swatch of cloth where it stands a reasonable chance of causing ecological damage (e.g., Great Barrier Reef, etc. Use your good judgment and common sense).     Found this today in good shape. I''ll get it a little farther west without delay. It''s a shame I didn''t find this one earlier I had just taken a trip to Southeast Asia. Oh well it would have been to easy if it made it there that quick!
