Since my daughter is currently serving in Fallujah, Iraq I had an attraction to this TB.

After retrieving BoB from NCA 1.05 (my second trip to this cache) he rode with me over to Broken Arrow Memorial Park and visited two Hero's memorials.

One hero who is still living today served in WWII and received the Medal Of Honor. Ernest Childers

The second hero paid the ultimate sacrifice defending freedom at the young age of 24. KIA March 24, 2003 in Iraq. Thomas Blair

Both of these great men were from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.

It is a very small world we live in. Today I work for a nephew of Ernest Childers and my daughter who is serving in Iraq today graduated one year before Thomas Blair from Broken Arrow High School.

If you click the view log link on the right you can get the waypoints for these memorials.
