This Travel Bug is not a traveller. It's mission is to come up with a better name. RURP stands for Realized Ultimate Reality Piton. I think we can do better than that. When you post a find for RURP, please include an acronym of your own making.
RURP is a Travel Bug that is affixed to the TMA-1 (Tycho Magnetic Anomaly One) Cache. RURP's purpose is to verify finds of TMA-1. In order to log a find for RURP you will need to find TMA-1 and get the number from either the cache logbook, or from the Travel Bug dogtag that is attached to the outside of TMA-1.

I saw this SOLA-tag (sign of log authorization) high above a dustriver. A sentinel for over 10 years now.
Congrats to this anniversary.

2012 Earth Odyssey. Mission accomplished
The TB should be called LASSO (legless and speechless salinas (creek) overlook). The acronym reflects Salinas' rodeo pastime , based on my condition at the top.

Mimring got to this one for our group (Coralteach, Fox51, JMunch, Mimring, Pengvin & Radek - the climbing muggle). I'm sort of glad I didn't have to get too close to it!

I wrote the travel bug number on a piece of paper. Afterward we swam back across the river. Thankfully the paper survived!
