Current Goal

Tommy Toucan wishes to return to Sam's Surprise in Lancashire, his owners first cache. On the way, he wants each leg of his journey to be no more than 30 miles. So if you can help him to move Northwards, he will be most appreciative.

Note: Unfortunately, poor Tommy has not moved further North in the last year! If you find him, please help him on his journey by ensuring he only moves in the general direction of Manchester, many thanks.

About This Item

Tommy Toucan is our first travel bug. He is set to join the geocaching community during our holiday in Devon in Summer 2004. We hope he has an enjoyable journey back to his homeground in Lancashire, and will give him another mission once he manages to make it back home!

    Found this on a recent walk near our home. It was on a railroad bridge near a farm at the north side of Manchester airport. I was curious and picked it up to find out more. This is the first trackable item i've found - very interesting, very cool idea. I'll try to find a good place to pass it along.

    Good spot, pretty quiet. Picked this one up at the end of a walk which ended at the 'Poachers' in Bollington. Will try to get it nearer home.
