Current Goal

Vargseld would love to be logged by every cacher he meets, but please do not try to take him home with you.

Anyone who knows me knows that when it comes to geocaching, some of my caches can get pretty untraditional. Well now that applies to travel bugs, too! This is Ol' Gus, my favorite ammo can. We've had some great times together, but now it's time to send him out on his own.

About This Item

My Favorite Ammo Can

Some idiot stole my favorite ammo can (I'm still crying) but I got the last laugh, because I'm using the copy tag to make myself a human TB! This is a TB tag accompanied by a signature dog tag from one of my caching friends, Trail Hound (just to tease those of you who don't have one of these super cool items!). I'll be wearing this around my neck at events, so people can log it.

This bug is an idea I had been sitting on for a while. It's different, but has the potential to be really cool. When you find this bug leave something small inside it that you feel symbolizes you or your caching team and write it down (along with any other messages) in the log book. Please DO NOT trade the items in this bug, I want people to just keep adding items to it.

Because this is a full sized 30 cal. ammo can you'll have to hide it along side or very close to a cache. If you can't hide the bug really well (along with the cache) don't leave it there. Just find somewhere else that's either remote or has enough room for the bug to be hidden. Please don't leave this bug in areas with a lot of traffic.

My only goal for this bug is that it stays in the continental United States, and never travels by plane, bus, ect. I don't want to see it confiscated by security!
