Current Goal

Ben the Bug has lived his whole life in the Adirondack Park in Upstate New York, and now he wants to see the rest of the United States. Please help Ben get to the as many of the states as he can, please submit pictures of Ben in cool places. Ben would like to return to his home by August 2005, to celebrate a friend's 3rd birthday...after which he will head out on another mission.

About This Item

Ben the Bug is a nickname for Benjamin the Butt Ugly Gnome (Bug is an acronym for butt ugly gnome). Ben is about 4 inches tall, and wears mostly earth-tone colors, except for a red hat.

    Discovered ole' Ben at this very peaceful cache site.
    Wont be traveling anytime soon to get added mileage on/for him, so i only "discovered" him.
    Hopefully someone can pick him up soon and send him on his caching journey and get some good caching miles on/for him.

    We found Ben in Columbus KS. He is heading north to Leavenworth, not for prison, but to see where his distant cousins, Uri Ka the Gnome, and Foun Dit the Gnome lived. They are also TBs on their own adventures. Wouldn't it be neat if they could meet along the way sometime.
