As a forest manager in California, I see much more of the remote wilderness than many other folk. At this very moment, the wilds of northeast California are swarming with rifle clad individuals. Their intent, to hunt deer, is an honest endevour and a necessity to keep families fed. Although harm to the Hodag is not the intention, this is not the right environment for a Hodag. I know a place with many white bulldogs where a Hodag can scratch out a fearsome lifestyle.
Looking into this TB's travel history, I discovered the Hodag has seen some of arbolero's familiar stomping grounds. A fated retrieval if there ever was one! I'll take a photo if I get a chance.
