Sorry folks, but I have to archive my “Angle of Incidence” cache. I saw that three cachers logged the cache in the last 14 hours and I think that someone must have been seen by the muggles. I was riding down Louetta road this evening with my teenage son driving. I noticed something resembling a camo-taped container lying in the middle of the turn lane. I guess after awhile that camo just gets easier to spot from a distance, even in a moving vehicle. I got home and got on my motorcycle and road back to check it out. Too bad! It was my cache or what was left of it. I looked around near the cache site and found the logbook and the mission paper for “Oldhippy Yellow Jeep” travel bug. “Off Road 4x4” was supposed to have been in there too. Both are gone and my Tech Cache is no more as well. Georeynozoswas the last to lo the find this afternoon.

I did find a clue that the culprit may have left. It was a piece of paper with penciled notes and directions of how to get to three local caches. I would like to think that geocachers would not leave any trash behind. Especially in map form. It looks like someone may be caching without the GPS. I’ll check the other two caches and see if there has been any trouble reported.

I guess this cache had a good run, almost made it two years. This cache may reappear in another location. I have the technology; I can rebuild it bigger and better. I’ll have to wait until my work slows down a bit so I can get back into the caching again. Sorry your bugs were taken.

Happy Hunting!
Ivan

Wanted to see if any of these bugs were headed my way. I was in Montana on business and would be heading back to Texas at the end of the week. I snagged this one because someone wrote "Time for a new state" on it.

the oldhippy told me that he wanted to go for a ride. because I am not a far from home kind of person, I left him at the I-90 travel bug depot. he should have a better chance to hitch a ride east. Montana Man
