As part of a 1 millionth scale model of the solar system we want the Mars Orbit Travel Bug to move from geocache to geocache at distances between 128.4 and 154.9 miles from the Hub of the Solar System at 42 degrees 21.4945 minutes north, 71 degrees 3.8101 minutes west.
Towns that might have appropriate geocaches include Albany NY, Danbury CT, Montpelier VT, Augusta ME and Berlin NH.
If Boston is the Hub of the Solar System, then where are the planets? We are releasing a set of nine planetary travel bugs with the intention of developing, with your help, our own scale model of the solar system. The goal is to have nine travel bugs moving from cache to cache at specified distances from what Oliver Wendall Holmes called "the hub of the solar system", together forming a 1:1,000,000 scale model of the actual solar system.
