Yes a Knight has a heritage, a castle, a responsibility. He should protect, be loyal, care for his castle and the people with in. Therefore I understands any knight's parents wish to have their heir close always to their home. HOWEVER ... the real great one's have to get out on a quest. Only this brings them immortality. Odysseus, Asterix, the viking Erik the Red, Prince Valiant (Prinz Eisenherz) all went out to far away places and all touched America. (ok we don't know about Odysseus - but what did Homer know about the new world). So now Walingus is up for his greatest adventure so far. We don't know how it will end - for every immortal icon of knighthood there are the countless ones who perished without being remembered by future generations. Walingus de Zissinferrior I wish you all the best for your quest and a good return to your home in a distance future - you can do it. AND ... isn't there a better place to start your new world adventure than at the modern version of a castle - Knight's Stadium.
