Mark Thompson, founder of geocacheuk.com died on 9th September 2004. This travel bug is taking part in a race in his memory. Please move the bug as quickly as possible and try to place it in a cache where it will be found quickly by another geocacher.

About This Item

This bug is in a race. Points are awarded for a combination of distance travelled and number of times moved. So even if you only move the bug a few miles, please do. Try not to leave it in caches that are visited infequently to give it a chance to move around.

    While checking my own cache to see if it needed a new logbook, I found Mark "The Cat" Charity Travel Bug. So I hid a new cache north of Sacramento, California the following day, containing two travel bugs.
    Dropped Off 1/21/2006 tsrorexx placed it in "Log In" to log out California - 2,609.79 miles  Visit Log

    I didn't think it would take so long to get Mark dropped off in California but time has been fairly scarce with all my other time sinks pretty active currently. As we were off to the folk's place to see the new family member (Sadie the cocker spaniel), I noticed a newer cache right off the road on the way to Grandma and Grandpa's so we were able to veer off and get Mark moving again. Safe travels!
