The goal of this coin is to visit as many caches as possible over the next year. As you log the coin write down how you got started in Geocaching. I know there are many interesting storys out there. Try not to hold on to it too long. Keep it moving. It would like to return to Boise, Idaho by March 2006.
This is a 2005 USA Geocoin celebrating 5 years of Geocaching. The coin is originating from Boise, Idaho and would like to be returned to Boise by March 2006. Feel free to post pictures of the coin while you log its journey. Be sure to include how you got started in Geocaching in the log.
I learned about Geocaching while playing a game of 20th Century Trivial Pursuit. I got the question, "What scavenger hunt for GPS users got its start when Oregon’s David Ulmer hid the first container and posted coordinates on the web?" I had no clue what Geocaching was. A short search on the internet and I found my first cache a few days later. I am now addicted to this game. I am one of many Geocachers that attend a monthly Cacheaholics Anonymous meeting in the Boise, Idaho area.
Now, let me know your story.
