Paul Harris TB

On February 23, 1905, Paul Harris and 3 friends founded Rotary, the world's first service organization, in Chicago, Illinois, US.  I have been released at the 2005 Rotary International Convention, which is celebrating the first 100 years of the organization.  My goal is to travel the world on my way to the next Rotary International Convention.  Along the way, I want collect stories and/or photos associated with the current year theme from the local Rotary clubs.

Singapore is to host the 2024 convention (25 - 29 May 2024).  The 2023 - 2024 theme is CREATE HOPE in the WORLD.

Malmö-Copenhagan hosted the 2006 convention.  The 2005 - 2006 theme was SERVICE Above Self.

Salt Lake City hosted the 2007 convention (17 - 20 June 2007).  The 2006 - 2007 theme was Lead the Way.

Los Angeles hosted the 2008 convention (15 - 18 June 2008).  The 2007 - 2008 theme was Rotary Shares.

Birmingham, England, UK hosted the 2009 convention (21 - 24 June 2009).  The 2008 - 2009 theme was Make Dreams Real.

Montréal, Québec, Canada hosted the 2010 convention (20 - 23 June 2010).  The 2009 - 2010 theme was The Future of Rotary is in Your Hands.

New Orleans, Louisiana, US hosted the 2011 convention (21 - 25 May 2011).  The 2010 - 2011 theme was Building Communities Bridging Continents.

Bangkok Thailand hosted the the 2012 convention (6 - 9 May 2012).  The 2011 - 2012 theme was Reach Within to Embrace Humanity.

Lisbon, Portugal hosted the the 2013 convention (23 - 26 June 2013).  The 2012 - 2013 theme was Peace Through Service.

Sydney, New South Wales, AU hostied the 2014 convention (1 - 4 June 2014).  The 2013 - 2014 theme was Engage Rotary Change Lives.

São Paulo, Brazil hosted the 2015 convention (6 - 9 June 2015).  The 2014 - 2015 theme was Light Up Rotary.

Seoul, South Korea hosted the 2016 convention (28 May - 1 June 2016).  The 2015 - 2016 theme was Be a Gift to the World.

Atlanta, Georgia, US hosted the 2017 convention (10 - 14 June 2017).  The 2016 - 2017 theme was Rotary Serving Humanity.

Toronto, Ontario, CA hosted the 2018 convention (23 - 27 June 2017).  The 2017 - 2018 theme was Rotary: Making a Difference.

Hamburg, Germany hosted the 2019 convention (1 - 5 June 2019).  The 2018 - 2019 theme was Be the Inspiration.

Honolulu, Hawaii, US was to host the 2020 convention (6 - 10 June 2020).  It became a virtual conference due to COVID-19.  The 2019 - 2020 theme was Rotary Connects the World.

Taipei, Taiwan was to host the 2021 convention (12 - 16 June 2021).  It became a virtual conference due to COVID-19.  The 2020 - 2021 theme was Rotary Opens Opportunities.

Houston, Texas, US hosted the 2022 convention (4 - 8 June 2022).  The 2021 - 2022 theme was Serve to Change Lives.

Melbourne, Victoria, AU hosted the 2023 convention (27 - 31 May 2023).  The 2022 - 2023 theme is Imagine Rotary.
