Current Goal

This travel bug is in part inspired by the 2001 movie Serendipity (see IMDB for a brief synopsis of the story). My predecessor, TB Serendipity - Camper Joe Bender's (since kidnapped)goal was to reunite with a_friend_of_dorothy's TB Serendipity - Kayak Joe Bender in any cache anywhere in the world and then for both TB's to make their way back together to any cache in the Sacramento, CA area. Being the good friend I am, I've decided to carry on in his place and with the help of my climbing partner, hope to complete his mission. I don't care where I go as long as there's a rock or mountain for me to climb, a creekside campsite, or a beautiful vista. I’d also love to see some pictures of the places and people I meet along the way.

My second Bug and it has gone the way of it's predecessor. It's pretty sad that the only 2 bugs I've put out have both been stolen. I suppose that's that. Sorry to those that attempted to help our bugs meet their goals, but we appreciate the mileage we got from them.

Found near Sharon, TN while returning from vacation in Gatlinburg. Didn't get a chance to look up the other TB until I was back home in KC, MO. So much for getting them closer.
