Current Goal

Nancy is a librarian action figure, complete with shushing action. Her goal is to leave Seattle and travel the world to see famous libraries and meet her fellow librarians. We would love to see photos of the libraries she visits. Tell us the library's name, location, and why you love it. We'd also like to meet librarians, and hear what their favorite books are. Have fun with Nancy, and READ, READ, READ!!!

Okay here is a list of a few famous libraries Nancy dreams of seeing: Any Carnegie Libraries; Hollywood Public Library by Frank Gehry, CA; NY Public Library, NY; Library of Congress, WA D.C.; Vatican Library, Rome; Laurentian Library by Michaelangelo in 1525(a girl can dream :), Florence; Library at Ephesus, Turkey; all the other libraries I haven't heard of but should; and when she gets called back home to Seattle she needs to visit Seattle Public Library by Rem Koolhaas, and our favorite spot to study, the beautiful Suzzallo Library at U of W.
