Please move me along to my final destination - Antarctica! As bats are found on every continent except Antarctica, it would be quite a feat for me to make it there!
As I was placed by the California Native Bat Conservancy (a not-for-profit bat rescue and conservation group) hundreds of students, teachers and librarians are following my adventures in order to learn/teach physical and cultural geography.

Just "blew in" on hurricane Katrina, 26 August 2005. I "flew in" from northern California for a relaxing vacation in the Everglades only to discover a Category 1 hurricane! I waited a few days before joining my fellow flying mammals to avoid the windy, rainy weather generated by Katrina.
