Current Goal

I enjoy visiting from park to park. My goal is to be photographed with as many park signs as possible. (State, National, even local) I also like having my picture taken by lakes and streams. I prefer fast pace moving from cache to cache so please don't hold me too long. I would really enjoy making a stop back home in Central Florida in October, 2007 so my owner and I could have a quick catch up.

About This Item

Dragonflies inhabit all types of wetland habitats and are important indicator species for the health of wetlands and of our environment in general. As a group of insects they are increasingly being viewed as beneficial for their role in insect pest control. They eat mosquitoes, aphids and other pest bugs.

Skimmer seemed a little lonely on Christmas Day so we brought him home. We've set out on extra place setting for Skimmer at the table so he is looking forward to turkey and stuffing. We're still waiting on Skimmer to tell us where he'd like to go next.
