Current Goal

The whole family loves A&W root beer... While on vacation in the UP of Michigan, we stopped at the A&W in Munising. Michael, my 11 year old son, thought it would be a cool idea to attach one of our bugs to the little kiddie mug and see where it goes. So here it is... Michael says "it would be really cool if you posted a picture of you with the Mug Bug". Extra credit: Take a picture of the Mug Bug at an A&W restaurant or with an A&W beverage!

I may have actually had some rootbeer at the A&W in Munising,MI myself...way back in Sept., 2000. I was on a camping trip at Pictured Rocks National Park and we visited Munising several times. However, what I remember even better is the whitefish dinner at a restaurant in nearby Christmas. I may hold onto this TB until I get to Brazos Bend State Park in TX. to give it more mileage. If not, I'll drop it off somewhere near Houston.

This is very "cool" bug. It makes me want a root beer right now. We like vanilla ice cream in our A & W root beer in frosted mugs. Makes the perfect soda. Thanks for the bug. getameapizza

saw you in a newly placed cache... didn't have anything to trade, or else i would've grabbed you up (thought about just taking it...) i too am a big A&W fan. my favorite drive in was located in ann arbor, mi on stadium street. i hear bob seger used to frequent the place back in the day...
