As developed coastal California is, there is a surprising amount of agricultural land here near Oceanside and Carlsbad. Left the tractor at Kelly's Barn within sight of other real farms. Doubt that his barn ever had a John Deere.

Just dipping into GC1YNW4 near Indio, California, before taking it over to Carlsbad on the ocean in a week.

Although this cache is at a citrus farm, the farm has been abandoned. There probably were several Deere tractors here but since the farm is past tense we decided to finish our traveling with this coin over in the nicer looking (and not as hot) area around Carlsbad Calif in about a week.

We feel badly that we have not dropped the tractor yet. We are currently in the Coachella Valley in SE Calif near a lot of farms. We need to find a less-hot and less-humid morning to go out and place this in an appropriate cache, while taking a few minutes off from caring for a family member who just got a new knee installed.
