( 2/27/06 )This Bug was started by Students at AIMS Community College in Greeley, Colorado. ( 9/7/06 ) A big THANK YOU to those who post photos of the GeoBug out in the world. They are thouroghly enjoyed and appreciated! (2/23/07) WoW! It is now 1 year since this little yellow GeoBug was created, and it has traveled nearly 7,000 miles... exceeding my expectations. It was created on a rapid prototype plastic extrusion device and was drawn as a 2-D picture in AutoCAD first as part of a class project. THANK YOU for taking such good care of it! This little GeoBug is one of four created. If you are very very lucky, you may cross paths with 002,003,or 004. Each was created by me, but released by other students. I have no idea where the other 3 are. Reported sightings would be very cool!
