Dorothy in the movie always wanted to go home. I thought this coin could show me what or where you call home. On its travels I would like it to visit the 'Green & Yellow Cache' GCJ127 N 39° 21.527 W 100° 26.900 which is printed on the coin. Photos will always be a delight to see.
As I love the movie Wizard of Oz and still sit down to watch it when it comes on TV. I had to have this coin.
The coin was produced to celebrate the first cache in Sheridan Co., Kansas which is called Green and Yellow Cache and features only trades of green and yellow items. The GPS coordinates to the cache are listed as well as a John Deere type combine harvesting a Kansas wheat field. The reverse of the coin features an edited scene from the original Wizard of Oz books by L. Frank Baum artwork. This time, Dorothy is seen with Toto holding an ammo box and a GPS.
"Dorothy, you made me hike 3 miles and all we got was a broken McToy", sighed Scarecrow is the text around the coin.
Dorothy is starting her trip from where I call home.
