Squirt's mission is to travel the world in a Flat-Stanley kind of way. So, between each of her catch-and-release experiences, please take a picture and post it to her journey page. The pictures can include: people, places, things, icons, landmarks, celebrities, fame, fortune,...really anything to make her story fun!

 

Flat Stanley (incase you've never heard of it): Flat Stanley is a 1964 children's book written by Jeff Brown and originally illustrated by Tomi Ungerer. It is the first in a series of books featuring Stanley Lambchop. One of the reasons the Flat Stanley Project has become the longest-lasting literacy project on the web is due to the simplicity of the concept. Kids send a flat visitor to a school, a celebrity, a family member, a politician or anyone of interest and the recipient returns the little flat guy along with a completed journal and perhaps some souvenirs such as post cards, photos, or special items.

About This Item

Squirt - Day 1

Squirt is from the Cachekinz – Ocean Series. She has a dark green shell with a lighter skin body. She is approximately 1" x 2" and cut out of metal. She responds well to lettuce and other greens, but prefers Girl Scout cookies (Samoas/Caramel Delights) and S'mores) with a tall glass of cold milk.
