The Thales Bushmaster is a military vehicle. It is highly mobile, ballistics, mine and improvised explosive device (IED) blast resistant and provides a unique level of troop protection and survivability through its monocoque vee-shaped armoured hull and other protection measures. With over 800 units delivered to the Australian Defence Force and Dutch Army, the Bushmaster is combat-proven with operational deployment in both Iraq and Afghanistan.
The home of the famous Australian Bushmaster is Bendigo in central Victoria, Australia where it is engineered and manufactured by Thales Australia using a skilled and dedicated workforce.
This Travel Bug is No.2 in a series of 6. It will be deployed into service in a Bendigo cache and hopefully be let loose to venture out into the world and explore new territories.
