Meeresschildkröten verbringen ihr Leben im Wasser und kommen nur selten an Land – bevorzugt auf Inseln.
Genau das Gleiche macht diese Kröte auch: Sie schwimmt von Ort zu Ort und lässt sich nur auf Inseln nieder. Dabei ist es ihr egal, ob sich die Insel im Meer, in einem See oder in einem Fluss befindet.
Wenn ihr die Schildkröte in einem Cache findet, dann helft ihr beim Weiterkommen:

Sea turtles spend their whole life in the open water and scarcely reach the soil. If they do so – then usually on an island.
Exactly the same does this turtle here: It’s swimming along and will settle down only on islands: regardless if it is an island in the sea, in a lake or even an isle in a river.
If you find the turtle somewhere in a cache please help it and further on:
You can take it anywhere you like – but please be so kind and log and drop off only in caches that are located on any kind of island:
Size doesn’t matter: Greenland or a Maledives‘ atoll. Far away on the Atlantic shores or close to its home in Germany: the turtle will make its way from Manhattan Island to the Isle of Mainau…
