Our Trackable's travel in honor of our daughter Abigail Burroughs who died at 21 from cancer. After undergoing all available treatments and failing to get not yet approved drugs that may have prolonged her life, Abigail succumbed on June 9, 2001. Abigail had always loved to travel. She traveled with her father; with her mother, stepfather and stepbrothers; and with her friends. Abigail had two dying requests. She told her mother to look after her stepfather and continue to do all the things they had all loved to do together. She told her father to continue working to help others find ways to obtain drugs that were still under development – for more information on this see www.abigail-alliance.org. By keeping this travel bug avatar moving, we are helping Abigail keep traveling.
