This Gecko started off in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa and hopes to see many more countries.
The Tropical House Gecko (Hemidactylus mabouia) is common to the lowveld and warm eastern parts of South Africa. It is often found in homes and can be seen around house lights catching mosquitoes. Quite harmless it is actively encouraged in many households because of it's mosquito hunting abilities. We have one in our home called Sebastian who has been around for a couple of years.
