ICE-SAR

 Landsbjörg, ICE-SAR, is a volunteer organization in Iceland with the aim of helping people in need.  The organization has specialized in search and rescue, as well as accident prevention. ICE-SAR has an active disaster relieve team that is ready at short notice to go anywhere in the world. 

After the great earthquake in Haiti the ICE-SAR rescue team was the first international team to arrive. They set up camps for the teams to arrive, as well as searching in fallen building. The team managed to save two persons alive during their week long stay in Haiti. This travel bug is to remember these events.
