When I started caching, the name sokratz was on all the log sheets at caches I visited, the sokratz wooden nickel was everywhere, and the caches of that I opportunity to do, were always quality caches. One of the first was GC14NNR - Pellets and Prizes II - which had us stumped. This was still when I did not cache with a GPS, but with sat images and descriptions... (fun way to do it, except when tearing your limbs with buckthorn, looking for something hidden by the "Master"). I learned very quickly that sokratz hides were never to be taken for granted.
It was a pleasure to meet you at the KB2000 event, I had wondered what type of crowd geocachers were... being the first event which I had attended... and I felt like I was among my own. Thanks for the chat, and I am sure to cross paths with you again sometime.
