Current Goal

Visiting bodies of water, anywhere possible!  Please move Toki's friend around coastlines, lakes, ponds, rivers, anywhere with a view of water .  She prefers the ocean, but even fountains would be acceptable, (sprinklers in a pinch).  She would like to get down to her native range (southern Australia and/or Tasmania) or visit Toki in Norway at some point, or visit some caches along the Inside Passage in British Columbia, where senoritafish's father had always wanted to take a cruise, but it's not required.  Toki's friend is about seven inches long, so she's not going to fit in smaller caches; she can visit them though.

If the cache she's placed in doesn't mention what body of water is nearby, an edit to the trackable log below (in addition to the cache log) listing it would be very much appreciated.  A picture of it uploaded to the log here would also be appreciated, so Toki can see where she is. Thanks!

About This Item

Toki's Underwater Friend

Toki Wartooth is the rhythm guitarist of the metal band Dethklok*; but in spite of being metal, he loves all kinds of animals, especially fish that live in the Marianas Trench, where Dethklok once recorded an album in a submarine.

Toki's Underwater Friends video

Toki's friend is a Weedy Seadragon (Phyllopteryx taeniolatus), native to southern coasts of Australia and Tasmania.  Nowhere near the Marianas Trench really, but Dethklok often visits Australia on tour, and they visit each other then.

More about weedy seadragons here.

*Dethklok is the band featured in the animated Adult Swim series, Metalocalypse.

I don't own Toki or Metalocalypse - they're copyright Brendan Small and Williams Street.

This is the Fry's swimmy critter in that my kids (the fry) helped pick her out as a travel bug.

This is a tribute to a character in the animated TV show Metalocalypse - I don't know, do travelbugs count as fanart?
