After I encountered the awesome totem pole called "Lord of the Bugs" at the "Crew Wanted!" kickoff event in Lyman, Maine, USA (for the "Lost Treasure of Mary Hyde" summer geocaching/souvenir series) with its back side covered with loads of travel bug tags, I decided to add one of my own tags to the multitudes to travel along with it! :-) So...this individual tag's goal is simply to travel with "Lord of the Bugs" and be discovered whenever and wherever it travels! :-)
(Many thanks to the creator of this awesome totem pole, and to the geocachers who came up with the great idea of letting it travel!)
The original/main TB number for "Lord of the Bugs" is TB3MWPJ. The following is the description from its page, written by the owner, "crossmage":
"Lord of the Bugs is a 3' totem pole carved by Henry Peltiar of the Native American Alabama-Coushatta Tribe of Texas. This piece was originaly commisioned for use as a mascot and icon for my son's Cub Scouts den. It served in that capacity for six years and retired honorably but was not wanted by the cub scout pack, so became a personal decoration until one day he was found by a travel bug dog tag, worshipped, and then he knew his new identity - a community travel bug, taking his followers to party after party, event after event and finally the big mega-events after mega-events. Special thanks to Snoogans for his assistance in designing this community bug."
