Current Goal

My home base is Blakely, GA., and I am named after Captain Blakely whose name is used for my hometown.  Blakely was formed in 1825 and is known as the 'Peanut Capital of the World."  My goal is to blast off and see all of the United States, from Florida up to Maine and then across to Washington, down to California, and finally back to my home state of Georgia.

About This Item

I hope that cachers will help me see the country so that I may report back to my home base all that I have seen.  If you choose to accept my mission I ask that you salute and remember those lives lost in America's space program.  I can't wait to work with you on this mission!

    We found this Travel Bug in Central Park in NYC - we hope it finds its way around the world! My kids have enjoyed playing with the space shuttle but now it is time for someone else to enjoy!

    I have taken this little guy many places. It has gone to CX 39A at Kennedy Space Center where the space shuttle program took off.. It has been to the space walk of fame in Titusville and now it sits in a container overlooking the VAB waiting to go to its next destination...
