You have found "Pirates of Tread Creek" Moms "Baa (knitting) Geo" coin. This cache critter would love to see, and visit with your latest knitting creations. Don't stress if you are not a knitter just move it along to and Eastern location and maybe someday it will end up on the "Fair-Isle". Took this picture at the Friday AM Sit'n'Knit at Wool and Company in Geneva. Explained geocaching to some of the ladies there. The squares he's nested in are for a 'barn raising' quilt, everyone's knitting squares which will be sewn into a quilt and auctioned as a fund raiser.
I'll drop this little fella shortly but for now I'm enjoying taking him to various yarn shops.

I love this coin! Reminds me of my youth... I spent several years on a farm where we kept a few sheep on hand to keep some of the weeds down on the non-tillable hillsides. While I took a class (provided by the Extension Service) on sheep shearing, unfortunately I never learned how to spin the wool or how to knit. Regardless, I'll see if I can't get this coin back into circulation before too much time goes by. Thanks for setting it on its way and helping an old man reminisce!
